I've sold pure gold and silver coins on Ebay, successfully. Zero commissions, zero capital "gains" tax. The ATO website makes zero mention of capital gains on precious metals. Stuff the guvernmint. Plus, precious metals are real money. How can you "tax" it? LOL.
Holding: ABC bullion (in a safe, dynobolted location), ABC bullion allocated storage, precious coins, NST, TBR and RND Aussie shares. USA: RGLD, AUY, GGN, RIC, SDGJ, SLW, BRIZF. Plus other non-precious metals stocks.
