Its been a long time since they got it home. How long will it take them for further refurbishment to have it workable, or decide to sell it if they cannot fix it. How extensive is their problem, and why didn't they know how inoperable it was. AAren't they supposed to be managing, instead of spending needy borrowed money to ship home something useless.
How much extra on your refurbishment? This does not sound prudent to me. What is plan C?
