Thanks for the info. FID looks good at growing FUM and FUA over the last 5 or so years. Not many outstanding shares and slightly expensive but a good asset management company from a quick read of the annual report.
You are right about KAM. They should definitely remain solvent as they have no debt and should ensure their expenses are less then their income but stranger things have happened. I don't like the CEO's pay but as the majority shareholder there is nothing I can do about it. If the company has a poor year he is still paid around $1 million. Seems high to me.
Anyway time will tell as I plan to be holding this stock for some time.
Please share anymore info you have on KAM or any other financial stocks. I often like to hear the other opinions to mine as I can be wrong or missing something that would change my value of the stock I hold. I find it easy to look for the better parts of the company when you are invested in the stock and can fail to see the structural or temporary changes that can devalue a company.
