I agree that contact lens development has been delayed, and that is frustrating. But there are always going to be development problems. Good thing is the team are very confident of getting around it.
In terms of near term revenue, I refer to the "Investor Update" Announcement 23/02/07.
"Japan has become a key source of commercialisation opportunities. Introductions to top tier Japanese companies have been made by Biosignal’s new strategic shareholder, Restoration Group. We are targeting industrial and consumer products likely to have short lead times to market and expect new development agreements in coming months – some of which may include near term revenue."
SOME of which MAY include near term revenue. Not a definate, but alluding to good prospects in Japan me thinks.
and
"A Biosignal road show to some of Japan’s most important companies occurred late in 2006 with promising feedback. Licensing agreements are expected on industrial products that can be registered and launched quickly. Leads are also being pursued in the medical field."
Shows they have a focus on getting short term $$.
