Last sentence should have read that I WOULDN'T be surprised if there were incentives to complete ahead of schedule.
Plough, I remember that there were some cost savings on the project that, in part, were going into paying for more experienced ex-pat experts to be on site/ oversee operations during the critical phases and for the technical work.
A very good move IMO as being stingy and holding onto some of those construction savings vs getting the plant up and running on time/ ahead of schedule without any cock ups is a no brainer.
Hopefully it isn't as tough as you experienced in Argentina.
