To be fair, Flexiroam mentioned that eSim is in the works. It's on their investor decks. I'm guessing the main concern would be the major telcos working against it, but time will tell. After all, you can't be using an eSim while still tied to a conventional SIM. I believe Flexiroam will be ready for it when the time to make the switch comes.
In the mean time, they seem to be making good progress. In flight WiFi, X2 beta, the growth is impressive, both in speed and substance. If they keep it up, they could be a major player in the market.
