I don't think FRX failed their VOIP app, in fact I think their tech were way more robust that ZIP & NOR, they incorporated the tech into Flexiroam X. The team are quick to innovate and fast to react to market changes, that is where NOR, ZIP and SYT failed to do so. They have not raised any money since IPO and very focus in delivering what they promised, now that they have established a strong base on partners & optimised their market cost, is the right time to scale.

FRX did mentioned about eSim last year and I'm pretty sure they are doing something on it, I believe it will be a huge opportunity for them if eSim is massively roll out on phones. Think about it, TripAdivsor, Scoot, Airasia, all these customers can download the app and get data via Flexiroam worldwide. I doubt the telcos around the world will be fast enough to adopt eSim (regulatory hurdles, domestic competition, security etc), there will be a big window of opportunity to Flexiroam if eSim ever come true.
