Been following them since IPO, the key success factor for FRX would be:
1. Find the right marketing strategy and scale it globally.
2. Conquer a segment of cuatomers that will generate recurring cash.
3. Lowering down the data cost by having an economic of scale (data volume increase).
4. Monetizing its customers base through ancillary income other than selling data.
They came a long way in consolidating its products, hit and miss in various marketing strategies. I think they are very close to be the largest MVNO in the world, much bigger than AYS, KGN and VOC.
These guys took a hit with the crash of NOR & ZIP in the OTT play, with whatsapp & FB messenger killing voice & sms, even the major telcos around the world feels the pinch. But, millions of apps runs on top of data, FRX made a bold move in 2016 by pivoting to global data provider through X.
With Cogmoe or some artificial intelligence unfolding, I think it can only be more exciting ahead.
