Let us get real- we seek out the best prospects on ASX Value wise and hold on tight. Overall we will do OK or better than OK...

I agree with sentiment here, yet if I thought this stock was to hit 40c I would exit now then re-enter later. As with many I have over 30 good small caps on my watch list.

Yet only have the brain power and time to deal with 6-8 per time. TRF, IFE, ROL I feel are LT goers... yet we may have poor looking portfolios in the ST.

Now fully invested it is hard to select what to sell down to buy up more on IFE and TRF if it does trail down to 50c.

Volitile times yet the brave may prove to be the winners over the coming weeks. Many ST players dislike May, so this must be considered a consideration.

In reality I thought of closing out my 8 positions in various small caps during May. Yet could not bring myself to pull the trigger when my expectations of companies like TRF, IFE, ROL, SSN, etc are so high.

Those of us whom play the small caps either greatly outperform the market or under perform. I am under performing due to I believe Rudd and the EU issues.

Holding during this time or accummulating is brave or stupid. Time will tell.

However these companies all look to have the goods in the ST, MT and LT to me- I will HOLD. If drops to 40s I will sell a car, not home- to buy more.

Without buying into the fear of Jan to March 2009 I would have been 80% down on my 2007 overall High. Now 40% down from overall High in 2007- makes a large difference to pick to times to buy into the fear- often.
