I dont know if the Resource tax will get implemented and I wont know until after the next election at the earliest. Up untill this time their will be a lot of uncertainty which will cause many investors such as myself to sell out of my resource stocks which have their projects in Australia. Many of these stocks will drift downwards over the coming months.

I have exited my IFE position becuase of these tax concerns. After the recent sell down of stage 1 of IFE , IFE was looking pretty marginal. With the addittion of this new tax their is no value left.

ROL is still left but they only have 7.8M shares which is only about 30% of their market cap.

As with all things everything has a price. If mining stocks overcorrect then value may appear again.
