I took a quick look at the trial exclusion criteria and one of them was no chemo treatment in the 6 months prior. Since the trial is a standard care (chemo) + treatment, the partial responses could actually be just due to the chemo and had nothing to do with the treatment. What is more important at this stage is the strength of the immune response to the vaccine and how consistent it is across the patients.
