Not so sure about low stocking rates not suiting a robot dairy like the one in Gippsland (not to be confused with an automated rotary).
As cows come and go as they please and it unattended, you dont need large number of milking stations. Utilisation factor is higher as their is an almost continuous stream of client's (cows).
What is the size (number of cows?) of the robotic dairy in Gippsland?
