Highly unlikely big companies would buy in at retail level. What company would try take a company over or get a large percentage of another company by pushing the price up for themselves on the retail market when they could potentially go to a trading halt scenario or drop big bucks on at a discounted rate through a capital raising.
More than likely speculation punters that may have inside knowledge..... or not.
