Ash,as posted i believe penn is doing a good job,but he wears blinkers as to taking advantage of profits other sectors or even current tls sectors like indoor/outdoor advertising.etc letting sensis and its massive customer base rot.
Thats why i believe tls needs a new chairman thats knows how to take advantage of the tls platform to make profits from other sectors with its competitivge advantage ie its leading domestic and global platform and tls's customer base.
Wesfarmers would givr their right arm and both legs to have such a business model.Tls well penn knows he has the advantage but how many years need to pass?
Thodey was slow into NAS domestic and global ,a tick for penn and pacnet,thodey shelved trujillos successful trials in nfc payments back in 2007 while japan and korea now have telco established payments including transit and there is room for apple pay etc.
Nothing has changed from thodey and penn,they both refuse to diversify and profit from other sectors where tls absolutely has a competitive advantage as penn has said?
We need a new tls chairman maybe goyder would be an excellent choice.
