We have, of course, been here before. My main concern over seismicity is around potential damage to the well bore and subsequent risk of integrity failure.
As I have stated previously there is a debate to be had around this but the government and Cuadrilla making facile comparisons with dropping melons has made a lot of people realise that they are not interested in having this serious debate and instead think they can get away with patronising the public. That is a missed opportunity and a crass strategic error, and one they have committed continually throughout the last 7 years. It seems they will never learn.
