shame they have no idea what the tax liability will be!
even if you assumed the entire $175mill was taxable (which it isn't) then the figure is $52.5mill tax not $55mill tax as stated by them. I have confirmed again with management over the weekend that we will have $194 mill in cash post transaction and tax out of a gross $220 million. ie we will pay $26 million in tax.
