You are right - CLV has a bright future. But this is a share for the long haul. Ian Brown, the new MD, is switched on both scientifically (very important to steer the company into the most profitable areas) and commercially.

There is no doubt that there is a huge and growing market for omega-3. Clover's challenge, being a mere minnow, is to avoid direct confrontation with the big boys but rather to work with them. Brown is doing this very cleverly, in my view, by developing new technology to establish leadership in niche areas which can be exploited in joint ventures with the giants. It is early days, however.
