    Paying to use the WWF symbol is fine. Of course they would have asked Huon for a better offer than Tassal, because if everyone was using their logo, it would lose its exclusivity and value as a point of differentiation.

    I'm not a holder so haven't looked into it, but in this thread that Huon allegedly have a worse environmental record.

    Huon is being outcompeted by Tassal and exploiting this as an opportunity to level the playing field.

    If Tassal was struggling with the care of their fish stocks, surely it would be evident in 'crop failure' or similar issues with production.

    Tassal also would have a more advanced breeding program, thus would be able to cultivate the genetics to farm fish that can handle these conditions (higher density farming etc) better than wild fish.

    Just because ABC reports something doesn't mean it is completely true. They can have a high level of bias in their selection and portrayal of 'evidence' (or lack thereof). The Four Courners episode shows exactly that.

    Whenever salmon are schooling they swim mouth-open. Pretty much every fish on the planet does.
