If you are still reading this please take time out to reflect a little. Don’t do anything drastic. This loss can be overcome. It may be hard work and may take a long time but you can recover. Don’t dwell on all the negativity and criticism here. Everyone makes mistakes. There would not be anyone on this forum that has not lost money on a share transaction somewhere over the years. I know I have.

Take time to sit down with family or people you can confide in and work out a safe investment plan to recover your losses. Remember these losses can be carried forward and offset against future capital gains. So they are not “lost” in that sense.

One day you will look back and will have learnt from this experience and will be a stronger and wiser investor for it. Stay safe and be kind to yourself.
