Very quick question for you - when you subscribed to EA Lab did they force you to enroll into their 'intermediate workshop' (or maybe you went willingly)? I'm looking to try out the platform but my sales guy is saying that it's a prerequisite that I also fork out for that workshop clear.png
I'd much rather just subscribe on monthly basis to play around before committing to the investment, so hoping there is some precedent out there to not have my arm twisted into the purchase lol.
Appreciate if you could please let me know how you went about it and/or what your recollection is of those discussions with them.
Thanks clear.png
Hi Zest
Yes, I also had no choice but to pay the required amount and do the imtermediate workshop when joining.
I did play hardball for about 6 weeks where all the guys rang me at least twice to try and convince me I should be joining for many reasons.
Rob rang me once and said he would build me any model I wanted for no charge if I joined that week. I wanted a bigger discount to join and finally got 20% off the price which was around $1180 in August.
It was really Sharks endorsements about the system that got me over the line.
What are my thoughts after 5 months with Tradeview Investments ?.
Its actually cheap because you will get all the help you need by ringing them or placing a online support ticket and the imtermediate workshop contain about 80 videos which includes 10 - 15 tradeable models.
Its all about those videos really.
Also they have a few basic models build within the EA builder which forms the basics of two of my models I am about to go live soon with (many changes of course ).
I would say I have learned more in six months about system development than 5 years of trading manual charts.
What do I not like about Tradeview Investments.
They ring you every 2 weeks to attempt to get you to sign up for that years conference. Its just a pain in the A.
I just keep asking myself the question are they really making money from trading their own Algo's. Are their Algos making them their major profits and the fees we paying are just the cream on top of the cake ?
Or, is the real money in the monthly fees and conference fees we pay and their own trading Algo's only return a moderate profit ?
That is a question I can't answer yet.
I am very happy at present to pay the monthly fees and the joining fee but I won't pay the conference fees yet till I get the runs on the board.
I will say I rang 1 EA in November as a test and profited about a grand before I closed it down, so I have already my immediate fees back.
I wished I had of looked at Tradeview Investments earlier when sharks was talking about it a year ago. I thought he was talking about the charting program Trade View Charts.
