Speaking of account size, I think I've mentioned my approach to that - keeping minimum amount in each trading account to cover margin requirements and potential drawdown. I was speaking with someone today who is quite knowledgeable about the industry, and they asked me did I realise how brokers made their money. I have an answer we would probably all give, about market-making, etc. He told me that brokers can be making, more or less depending on size, about $500k per month in interest from the funds in trader accounts (sine they are non-interest bearing to the account holder).
