On another trading forum, I have a area where I can add my favourite trading quote -
"This bias may be at the root of all other biases. Yet being right has little to do with making money - Van K Tharp"
How many times have we seen a great trend take off, we add a small stop which quickly gets taken - then the market flys 400 pips. I see many great trends on a Index move but my style is to wait for a pullback inside a liquidity pool area, then take the trade. I find Forex provides more areas of liquidity so therefore I make more money. I just hate chasing a strong trend, its gambling and I lose.
Have a look at all three calls I made this week, EN / AJ / NJ. All are seeking those Liquidity pools I mentioned and it is no surprise they are moving in the correct direction.
Having said that, I hope everyone finds there trading edge and is making good money. I am just having a rant.
