Hi Mason
I look at EA's in three ways.
1.. Is it a Reversal Model or Trending Model ( perhaps a few other types as well )
2.. What strategy is used to enter a trade.
3.. What strategy is used to exit a trade.
Trade management for me normally is to do with the Exit Strategy on most occasions so this is where I start in my models.
I start with the Exit strategy first, then decide whether I want to build a Reversal or Trend model second and LASTLY decide on how I can enter a trade.
SO I WORK BACK TO FRONT
I do favour multiple entry / single exit on increasing lot sizes kept within a percentage of a Equity shutoff.
Here is the Test for my EURCAD account. This is 12 Months Results on One Pair on a 10K account.
It runs 5 EA's, two primary EA's are reversal models and three secondary EAS's are trending models. All have the same Exit Strategy of Set Take Profits and re-enter with increasing lot size positions.
On Demo in the first 3 weekss, it is running at about 2% profit a week.
Its still too early to know how this well go but I am happy so far.
Today on Demo I placed GBPNZD with 5 EA's and AUDJPY with 6 EA's.
I am currently working on Double Entry, Double Exit with one exit being a trailing stop and the second exit being a fixed amount.
