One more interesting thing is you can almost time your entry to catch a lower spread. That’s provided your broker is doing the right thing by you.
It was ranging between 0.6 to 2.2 pips here. Of course this pair always offers high spreads.
If I had to trade one pair, GBPUSD hands down and has a great spread.  
EURUSD has the best spread but doesn’t move enough to perform micro trades.
