Agreed mate, I tend to just blunder into things at full speed and learn to fly as I'm building the plane, great for the learning curve IMO but not sustainable I agree.
On a side note, me and my fiance just brought our first home (move in next week or week after!) and getting married in a few months before taking a month off for honeymoon (where I promised I won't be trading etc.). So my goal has loosely been to have at least 1, ideally 2, EA in demo to run over that honeymoon period. But we'll see how I go, still need to sit down and flesh out details of a proper plan as you say (both for my EA and ASX trading actually).
