Going with a VPS server is the way to go. Many brokers may cover the cost of the service too if you trade large amount of lots per month. I believe with IG its about 10 lots per month but I may be wrong.
I have been trialing ForexVPS for around 3 months and their basic VPS costs around $38 per month to run around 4 EA's. They have a Professional package for around $90 per month to run around 9 EA's.
Again if you were trading high volume you wouldn't need to pay.
As I'm only on Demo with trial EA's at present, I have to pay.
I do use FXcolo at present via FXCM for my old MEME EA which is a free for me.
There is one main problem with all VPS servers - there is normally a slight time lag when operating any chart.
