While I am waiting for Non farm, I thought I would share stats on testing of my second EA. This is the one based on a Simple moving average that it's optimization is based just on the current trading conditions. Its the one I was talking about yesterday but not the graph one I showed.
So I am going to run it from Feb 1st 2019 to Feb 1st 2020 with three review periods during the year. Its currently in Demo at present.
In Demo. the results are slightly different with a 15% reduction in profit and a 25% increase in draw down but its close enough to keep running this strategy.
Of course it could just blow out a Live account so I am not sure if its a lemon or a diamond because the testing stage PROVES NOTHING. I believe its the profit taking feature with re-entry that makes the money here and not the entry system. It is in a live trade 100%, either Long or Short.
In the Performance chart, I blacked out some info because its shows each chart as a separate capital amount instead of one capital account, not sure if it can be done the other way. But the figures now seem correct.
