I've been testing some of the free EAs in market but unable to arrive at the same results as their screenshots during my back testing, but I assume that is due to them being free and very basic, but not sure if any of the paid options are worth it or just all going to end up the same for me with failed test results - still a lot of platform features and settings I need to familiarize myself with... on the fence as to whether I should start my EA journey in the market and learn from there, or start from ground up and code my own.
If you have any views on the stuff in market place I would appreciate your 2 cents! clear.png

I have been building models with Trade View for only 3 months so I am still a bit green with creating EA's. My experiences with EA's from the Market place hasn't been good.
I need to say can't I code for nuts so Trade Views platform has opened up doors that I would of never thought I could enter. To be totally honest, I have learned more in three months about what type of strategy ( Trend strategy / Range strategy / Reversal strategy ) should profit the best for each pair, than trading the live market over the last Ten years for that same knowledge. Been able to build a EA from a concept then testing it while still under construction is fantastic. All those ideas that float into your head about a new strategy can be build and tested with 30 minutes. There is nothing better than to sit down with a cup of coffee on a Saturday night with EA labs on your lap top and just run through some of those ideals through the system. Its feels like writing a song in my books.
For example, I now know if a good trending strategy doesn't perform well on GBPAUD - Forget it
If a good Reversal Strategy doesn't perform well on AUDNZD / AUDCAD or EURCAD - Forget it.
Sharks talked about Trade View Investments a year ago to me but I didn't pay much attention. I thought he was talking about the Tradeview Charting site which I hate. It took me a few months to realise he was talking about something different. I hope Shark forgives me.
I wouldn't sit on the fence if I was you, the platform is great and help is only a phone call away. I must warn you they will hound you to join once you make contact and will phone you almost every week to sign up for one of there next Algo Trading Conference. I believe the next one is on 15th December.

Totally true. When I signed up for the platform, they rang me at least 6 phone times ( everybody had a go ) then they finally gave me a 20% discount off the joining fee.
But you cannot fault their efforts in helping you become a Algo EA builder.
