It normally means reversal, for a few candles only. When I started over 10 years ago, I believed Volume price analysis was the way to go when trading Forex. I followed Anna Coulling's work from the UK in learning the VPA skills for Forex trading.
It helped a lot but for me it wasn't the answer. I never found a edge in using volume Price Analysis but I did find a edge around 5 years later.
