it's funny you mention that.. that's my overall plan but because NZ likes to make things difficult for everyone they brought in a regulation meaning that overseas brokers normally won't touch us with a barge pole.
last time I looked into it I couldn't find any NZ options brokers that were legit and properly regulated. Halifax looked best but they cold called me literally every day which raised red flags in my head because it seemed desperate.
