Are you referring to short term only or also longer term? On the STT thread yesterday I speculated that if the Democrats win a blocking majority in either house that will essentially tie up most new legislation for the remainder of Trump's term, much reducing his ability to introduce change. The effect of that I believe would be a dampener on US economic growth so the likelihood of further US rate rises would decrease and the impact on the USD is that it will weaken over time. Any views?
