Bossplaya, this morning I your pain. As it happens last night windows did an auto update on the laptop where i have all my EA's running so it does the update and then a restart, closing all open programs in the process, and hence my EA's. As a result they missed the following trades:
Total of 350 pips profit missed thanks to windows. If they were real $'s and not demo $'s I'd be real miffed, but this showed me another example of the value of demo testing and finding something unexpected. Lesson(s) learned - (1) pay more attention to my windows updates notifications and dont put them off, and (2) auto updates cant be turned off so i have scheduled to allow updates to occur between 8am and 2pm since thats when my EA's are least active and when I am around to turn them back on, rather than have it happen while asleep.

PS: I'm currently enjoying a week of sun in Hawaii but when im back at the end of next week I will be going live with 3 out of the 6 EA's I've been demo testing (the other 3 need some more work) - having done months of work on these EA's I'm getting excited at the prospect of finally going live and seeing what the EA's will really do!
