I also love the 5 minute charts and just trade the flow of higher highs etc. during a strong H1 or H4 bar.
I perfer APB Bars, 10EMA and on a trade manager the TDI.
I am really looking at Bar patterns in the H1 chart like BEEB / BUEB / DBHLC etc.
So I trade price action with no other indicators manually. The issue with EA's is we need to set parameters for the trade manager to open up a position. This is best done with some form of indicator like the TDI or MACD etc. .
It means we accept far more losses but the winners on a good EA end up nicely on top and in good profit. The EA can trade 20 markets, 24 hours a day which no human can match AND without emotion.
