Why time a entry? too hard to be profitable in my books.
I have been talking to a few broker agents over the last month and I have been asking them on their trading methods.
All of them normally talk about the same strategy, build slowly on weekly trends with just moderate size trades.
It seems to be common to many professional traders.

I hate the herd......its when volatility starts.....beat the herd....weather the volality.....unless you are OK with $1 a pip....
