Haha Rick, the more I read your posts the more similar I found ourselves to be.
My week has been average too.. still up, but not an amount to brag about..
I also aim for 10% per month. To keep people happy, I set a benchmark of at least 6-8%. However, our different trading styles means that I, unfortunately, do have some losing months - never a huge amount, but if I have some losing trades near the month-end it normally brings my average right down for the month. That being said, I can also experience some superb months.
I also agree about trump. He's ruined a lot of good trends and trades for me this year. I can't even count the number of 'excellent trades' I've been stopped out of due to his mouth opening.. It's almost as though he's watching my screen
