I haven't known many traders that do two extremes, it's normally either one or the other - I know a couple of scalpers, but most of us are longer-term. I simply found a strategy that works for me and stuck to it, increasing position sizes over time.
(Plus, my strategy allows many hours of freedom to hit the waves, travel and focus on my other ventures )
