Oil has plenty of movement and good volume and lots of trader interest e.g. see Investing dot com forum. But news can drive it wild, e.g. weekly inventory announcements, which can be seen on the forex factory calendar. Overall, FA might be more important than TA for oil, e.g. oil supply increase led to the gigantic drop, and vice versa. But you need a lot of detailed understanding about the drivers.
