I don’t trade futures so I won’t argue with you, 45 minutes seems to be about average for them from what I have seen. I can only talk about 4/5 traders who work by themselves and therefore have to risk their homes. Trading more then 3 contracts is madness for those traders. I trust 3 of those guys as they are very honest. They also don’t worry about 1 %, they trade all they can out of I think a 20 k balance. The small guy trading futures has to forget about the 1% rule.
Again I have no personal experience with futures so I would be interested if you could describe more about your experiences.
