Thanks Rick. I guess since the proof is in the pudding so to speak if it works for you then use it. I think a big aspect of TA based trading (other than statistics) is the visual aspect - what are the features of a chart that you can visually relate to and interpret, whether it be pure PASR or a mix of indicators. For example I have found over the years I prefer candles to bars - even though they convey essentially the same 4 price metrics (OHLC) - simply because visually candles with the body and black/white more easily convey to me the price action flow during the candle's period than the equivalent OHLC bar.
