The question you should ask is what time frames are affected by sensitive news.

My answer is

Under M1 to M60 time frames - Close all trades.

H4- What is the weekly candle telling you. If my trade is in the same direction as the weekly is moving, I will hold trade open provided I am in good profit. The big players probably have already moved the market days before news breaks because they already know ( Except for GBP News ). The weekly direction very often is the way the sensitive news moves the market.

Day Chart - Couldn't care a stuff about news

Please remember before Trump was elected, the USDJPY was clearly Bullish for over two weeks. When News broke that Trump was going to be the next President, the market swung down 400 pips ( most stop loss got taken ). But with 48 hours, the weekly bullish direction returned.
