I myself don't use guaranteed stops, almost never have had a bad loss over the years being caught out with a big move against me. However I will close very large lot size trades over weekend or near times of major news times.
I like to have hidden stop losses set by my trade manager that my broker can't see but will always have a second visible hard stop loss they can see 400 pips away. This hard stop will save my ass and has never been hit luckily.

I won't trade the Swiss Franc or Chinese Yuan
