Spec, I'm not sure why you have a problem with that red candle...

    Spec, I'm not sure why you have a problem with that red candle you pointed out? I agree with Rick that that candle closing lower than the candle that makes the high is a good sign that sellers have control at that point. But the other clue is that wick itself indicates an effort by buyers to push the price to new highs and they clearly fail to do that before meeting selling pressure before they get to the high. That is definitely a bearish candle.
