Hi Sharks

That is how I read your post, margin and risk are way apart. I also find no reason why high leverage is bad provided your risks are controlled and you are trading to a plan.

My accounts are set at 1:400 Leverage because who wants to leave $50K in a brokers trading account, that's crazy.
I am also in your book of only having enough to cover margins with some extra for safety. I do have one account set to 1:200 for long term trades which I find myself using more and more.

I also hope I never hear the term " Newbie " trader here in this forum again.
