As part of my trading plan I once I have worked out where Im going to put the stop loss I set the trade size to risk 1% of my account if it gets stopped out which I think makes the plan sustainable.
As far as guaranteed stops, I havent been able to find an ASIC regulated broker who offers guaranteed stops and also offers cTrader platform. It would give me peace of mind to have guaranteed stops, but since I dont trade news events hopefully I wont ever need them haha.
But yes I feel theres only so much that can be learned from demo trading where all trades are executed instantly
