This thread is for the doubters. Apologies in advance to the non-doubters.

I found an article written in July 2015 for mining.com which listed the world's highest grade gold mines at the time (the list will have changed a little since then). I'm not sure how well researched or how accurate this list is but I've put the Sanbrado project and the M1 South deposit up against the mines on the list for comparison purposes. All numbers are from the 22 June 2018 feasibility study.

Based on this comparison Sanbrado would have been the fourth best high grade "mine" based on reserves and the tenth best mine based on grade. If we blur the comparison a little and put the M1 South open pit and UG indicated resource up against the proved and probable reserves on that list, it would be the fourth best "mine" based on size and sixth best based on grade. If we consider only the UG resource of M1 South it would be fourth best on size and second best on grade. Remember WAF are still doing extensional drill at M1 and M5. If WAF can add another 400koz to Sandrado reserves it would move the projects reserves to third best by size on that list.

Note there are some big gold mining names on that list. But hold the presses......news just in. The take-over offer will be well below 20cents........lol. Esh
