thanks splain for the input. i have given up looking at the emm website. i acknowledge that the chiliean order was a good one, and indeed, i though that it would have been the start of more big orders. the company , no doubt will report a operating profit, or at least, be cash flow positive , for the 5 months ending dec 31. this will be based on the success of the $5m oreder that is referred to. without again, looking at the annual report (or wherever it was that i saw it), i think that they were targetting sales of $10m for the coming year (don't hold me to the figure). for this to happen, they would have to have another sale or two, in the pipeline.
as regards to smorgans, and the trial relating to the recovery of zinc, from electric arc furnace dust (or whatever), people should be aware of a competing technology (maybe it is competing, maybe i am wrong), and i include part of a report from hmc
"Earlier this year, Hydromet secured a long-term contract with OneSteel Ltd to recycle and produce zinc sulphate from electric arc furnace dust generated by the steelmaker's Rooty Hill NSW plant. The contract will make a significant, sustainable contribution to the company's bottom line."
that reminded me. i should really look at hmc, as a bit of a punt - cashed up, contracts in place, cheap price, small dividend.
