In regards to ignoring it all, you're absolutely right that someone with a large account can still be wrong.
However, my trading strategy is a lot about timing and probability, so seeing information like this certainly improves the odds on a stock and my likelihood to take the trade...so I'm certainly not going ignore this information anytime soon...maybe ever...

You and also @madamswer seem to be assuming we all trade (or should trade) the same way and same strategy...and that there is only one way to succeed in the markets...
Personally, I think I would fit the "Traders and nutters" category, but I do respect all methods...all the best to you both with your respective strategies...

Also, SDI has moved 13% in 2 days since I spotted the surplus anomaly. Of course I'm not going out buying every stock with this same anomaly, but in this case, I was already bullish with SDI before it happened. If anything, this was the perfect trigger for a high probability trade.
