    It may look okay, but pyrite is called "fool's gold" for a reason. Other lookalikes (but not test alikes) could
    be the silvery marcasite, and even fresh chalcopyrite. The PNG's have a word "bilas"...means basically dolled up to look nice, but....Of course pyrite itself can contain some gold. Porphry rock, some green, my amateurish idea would swing towards maybe the Cu mineral chalcopyrite and probably pyrite.

    Why not post a link or the release date and we can have a look.....if that was gold it would run to hundreds of grams, probably multi ounces per tonne. PNG usually fairly modest grade averages, with high grade patches....fruit parts in a cake style.

    One poster thinks we don't read the reports but I remember those photos, and correct me if the word pyrite wasn't mentioned.
