it looks like Newcrest are in the market to take up JV's with Juniors again.

"Newcrest general manager exploration Fraser MacCorquodale presented at Diggers & Dealers late on Wednesday in what was the company's first appearance at the Kalgoorlie forum since 2010.
"We're open for business in the exploration space," he told delegates.
"We're actively looking for new partners."
MacCorquodale said the company had rebuilt its exploration portfolio over the past two years across the Asia Pacific, the Americas and Africa.
"We've moved quickly but we want to move even quicker," he said.
"We're really excited to be building this portfolio."
As a partner, MacCorquodale said the company could offer global expertise, financial support, strong exploration capability, including the latest technology, and deal flexibility.
