Hi Doggy,
I find it confusing that a marketable parcel is supposed to be $500 worth of stock. Such as the recent buyback of the un-marketable parcels by the Company. When buying thru Commsec they won't accept a buy order for less than this amount. But when it comes to selling orders, it seems that any small amount of shares is traded like the current one where $42 worth of stock can push the capitalization down by 5.5%.
Years ago, before shares were traded online, they had a specified odd lots broker to handle non marketable parcels. These were traded at a discount to the current SP & were not recorded against the daily turnover & percentages.
Maybe it's time to reintroduce a similar system for these trades, to stop all this type of manipulation.
